Brain Based Coaching

Your challenge

Your or one of your team needs some help on developing some goals that are specific to them. From growing confidence to changing work based behaviours and everything in between. You need someone to help facilitate positive change by improving thinking to gain new insights that lead to action and outcome.

Your Solution

Talk to me about One to One coaching using the neuroscience based programme developed by the Neuro Leadership Institute (NLI) for effective brain friendly coaching. The suite of brain-based tools based on cutting-edge research of how the brain works result in insight driven conversations, goal-setting, and habit building that unlock new possibilities and translate into measurable results.

In addition a PRISM brain map assessment can also be completed by the coachee which helps provide insights around how they feel, think and do in relation to different types of tasks and work environments and can form the basis of goal setting for the coaching sessions.

The process

By working through a process utilising practical tools the coachee will move from identifying impasses to generating insight before taking actions which lead to positive and sustainable new habits and behaviours. The energy and motivation created by these new insights is part of what helps the coachee remain committed during the three-to six-month period of coaching.

The programme typically consists of 12 sessions with sessions 1 and 2 focused on teasing out goals and strategies that motivate the coachee. The aim is to identify 3 stretch goals ensuring that they are also achievable and measurable. The following sessions will then focus on the actions and progress before a final session that reviews and celebrates the progress made.

Prior to agreeing to the coaching contact a session will be held with the potential coachee to talk through the process so they can understand what is involved, how the process works and to ensure they are committed to it, particularly the work they will be required to do between sessions to ensure they reach their goals. This session is also used as an opportunity to ensure there is a good match between the coach and coachee. Should the coachee wish to progress with a neuroscience based coaching programme but would prefer a different coach recommendations and introductions to other coaches can be made
